I absolutely adore Dark Souls 2. Lighting Engine brings the visuals up to the next level, replacing the compromised and unfinished lighting and shadows rendering with something much more modern. The latest versions (currently only available on the developer Discord) include ray tracing support. The results are…jaw dropping. It’s still a work in progress, but what is there so far makes playing through the game yet again feel fresh and new. I have been taking screenshots to document all the cool sights, and share all the weird and wild experiences out there in the world of Drangleic.
